Had a great Christmas stay at this hotel! Loved the convenient location and amenities offered. the secure parking garage provided peace of mind, and the breakfast selection was satisfying each morning. the check-out time was also a plus, allowing for a more relaxed departure. the decor in the room added a nice touch to the overall experience.
There were some negative aspects. the cleanliness of the room could have been improved, and the music played throughout the hotel was not enjoyable.

The hotel was on the right track of design. It was very modern - very recognizable that they used Ikea furnishings. However, the install was noticiably splotchy. They took too many shortcuts and the execution of the remodel was sloppy.
Bed linens were filthy! The glass shower & toilet area in every room gave no room for privacy to do your business. Additionally, our glass doors were broken, management was made aware and gave no intention of fixing the problem. Also, we asked the hotel to call us a cab -- which they never did; leaving us stranded for over an hour.

Spacious rooms with modern amenities, great location near the airport.
The hotel's reputation as an adult-themed motel wasn't my cup of tea.

The staff are my new best friends. It's absolutely beautiful, and cheaper than a pack of bubble gum.

The rooms were tastefully decorated and the area felt very safe.
The employees did not speak very good English and were generally not very responsive to our needs.

Got a good price, close to airport.
Air conditioning unit in room was quite noisy. Lots of outside noise from street & planes passing overhead.

The hotel is very handy to Miami Airport.
The desk person barely spoke English. The entrance to hotel lobby was blocked by 2 parked cars, I believe at least one belonged to staff, and took 10 minutes to clear. We dragged in 7 bags and were not offered any assistance. This particular building has 3 floors with rooms only on top floor. There are 1 or 2 other buildings which we did not visit. My considered guess is this is a converted "motel" as the "hallway" is outside with bars and blinds blocking the view. Changing through the limited channels on very small TV we landed on a full blown porn channel which while not offending me, made me think of a family with children flipping channels...you know the rest of the story!

My room wasn't ready. The room that I got a key to wasn't even cleaned after previous guest signed out. Bed wasn't made period. So we had to get a room that we didn't want. Basically the cheaper version of what we wanted. I asked for the manager many times & they said she's hardly ever there. The staff needs to be retrained on how to deal with their customers. I will never stay there again.Checkin was @ 3 & I didn't get in my room until 4:52 pm

The hotel was clean.
The staff was very rude and unfriendly. The rooms are not your typical hotel rooms-more like an upscale brothel.

I am not sure what to say, this is an adult hotel
The bed was two twin mattresses pushed together and had blood on them, hotel rooms have private garages and my car barely fit into it, you have to put your room key in a slot on the first floor of your hotel room for the lights to come on

Compared to my hotel the night before, Hotel Aladdin is a beautiful boutique hotel close to the Miami international airport. I felt safe as a solo traveller due to the gated entrance and exit. The room was remodeled with a flat screen tv and iPod docking station and wonderful bedding.
This is referred to as a "sex" hotel!! Who knew! I thought it was wonderful, but my business colleague the next day informed me that this is a typical "adults only" hotel with garages for the rooms with guests who are cheating and want to hide their vehicles. The bed was squeaky and moved around. They piped in music that sounded like the amazon right outside my door, and it kept me up instead of being soothing. I never found the complimentary continental breakfast.
